Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic pavement preservation and related construction operations.
• Ability to safely use hand tools (squeegees, brooms, shovels, lutes).
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and signals on a worksite.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and variable schedules.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Spread, smooth, finish, and clean up slurry seal and related materials with hand tools.
• Assist with surface preparation and debris removal before material application.
• Maintain material flow and ensure a uniform finished surface.
• Set up, move, and clean hoses, signs, barriers, and equipment at shifts start/end.
• Work safely around traffic, heavy equipment, and other crew members.
• Coordinate with foreman and crew to ensure smooth workflow and safety.
• Keep work areas clean and report unsafe conditions promptly.
