City of Muskogee's Parks and Recreation Department seeks a Maintenance Worker II to perform semi-skilled tasks on city properties and facilities, including parks, pools, and equipment. You will operate light to medium construction equipment, apply pesticides and maintain landscaped areas, and assist in repairs and events setup.

Regular attendance and ability to work outdoors are required. Reporting to the Parks and Recreation Maintenance Worker III, this role requires a valid Oklahoma Class D

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year of experience as a trades helper or maintenance laborer.
• Experience with light to medium construction equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsabilités

• Operate lawn and landscape equipment including mowers and weed trimmers.
• Maintain park areas, clean restrooms, and collect trash.
• Assist in repairs of parks, pools, fences, and sports facilities.
• Set up for special events and assist as needed.
