Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our network connected. You will maintain and repair wires from hub sites to customer connections and monitor signal integrity to ensure continuous service.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, at least 1 year of cable experience, and the ability to operate test equipment. Work is outdoors, with on-call duties in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: Cable experience of at least 1 year.
• Technical: Ability to operate test equipment and basic mathematics and electronics.
• Ability to read/write/speak English and communicate professionally.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair network wiring from hub sites to the connection points outside the customer's home.
• Monitor and report signal leakages and repairs as required.
• Provide 24/7 coverage to keep Spectrum's network operating reliably.
