Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a Construction Technician to build and maintain our network infrastructure. You will work outdoors, supporting construction projects and ensuring reliable connectivity for communities served by Spectrum.

The role requires physical work, including lifting, climbing poles, traveling weekly, and adherence to safety standards. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required, with CDL preferred if applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to follow safety requirements and standards on construction sites.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety requirements and standards while supporting construction projects.
• Move and load cable equipment, tools and materials.
• Dig trenches and bury conduit and cables for network buildouts.
• Pull lasher, strand and cable between poles for aerial networks.
• Perform traffic control and flagging to ensure safe worksites.
• Operate and maintain crew vehicles.
