Job summary

Mosquito & Pest Authority is seeking a Mosquito Control Technician in the Richmond area. This paid-training, seasonal, full-time role runs March through October with daytime hours and occasional Saturdays during peak season.

You will travel throughout the Richmond area performing professional mosquito treatments and delivering excellent customer service, with no prior pest control experience required as paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Apply mosquito control treatments to residential and commercial properties.
• Safely operate backpack sprayers and other application equipment.
• Drive a company vehicle between service appointments.
• Communicate professionally with customers before and after each service.
• Inspect properties and identify conditions that contribute to mosquito activity.
• Follow all company safety procedures and pesticide label requirements.
• Complete service documentation using company software.
• Keep equipment and company vehicles clean and organized.
