Mosquito Authority of Metro East is hiring a Mosquito Control Specialist to protect clients by applying established mosquito-control products on residential and commercial properties. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided.

This on-site role emphasizes safety, customer service, and physical work outdoors, with opportunities to work extended hours during peak seasons and a competitive hourly rate of $15.00.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and lift.
• Extended hours and weekends possible during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Participate in provided training to meet licensing requirements.
• Work safely complying with state requirements and OSHA policies.
• Operate a backpack blower (up to 60 pounds) in various terrains.
• Respond to basic customer inquiries and document issues for timely resolution.
• Maintain a clean company vehicle and drive safely.
