Job summary

Katmai Government Services seeks a Laborer to perform a variety of manual tasks in outdoor and maintenance settings. The role includes loading/unloading, material handling, site cleanup, and assisting with maintenance projects in support of the US Marines.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain security clearances. Applicants should be flexible on scheduling, able to travel occasionally, and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent required.
• Must obtain and maintain required security access/background checks.
• Flexibility for scheduling and occasional travel may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload trucks and move supplies using wheelbarrows or hand trucks.
• Stack materials for storage and binning; collect refuse and salvageable items.
• Dig, fill, and tamp earth; level ground with tools.
• Shovel concrete and snow; maintain outdoor areas and equipment.
• Move heavy office/household furniture and equipment as needed.
• Operate machinery as required and drive when directed for training or travel.
• Spread sand/salt on icy surfaces; perform ground maintenance and cleanup.
