Job summary

K&R Staffing HR Consulting LLC is seeking a dependable Part-Time Warehouse Laborer for a lumber and wood products company in Stockton, Alabama. The role involves physically demanding outdoor work, lifting and moving lumber, and general warehouse duties throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable performing physically demanding manual labor.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, and move lumber repeatedly.
• Willing and able to work outside in the heat and cold.
• Dependable and able to report to scheduled shifts on time.
• Previous warehouse, lumber yard, construction, landscaping, or general labor experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sort lumber and wood products into bins and storage areas
• Load and unload lumber and materials from trucks
• Lift, move, carry, and stack wood throughout the shift
• Organize lumber and maintain designated storage areas
• Assist with receiving incoming shipments
• Perform general warehouse and lumber yard labor
• Keep the warehouse, yard, and work areas clean and organized
• Work outdoors in hot, cold, and changing weather conditions
• Follow all company safety procedures
