Job summary

Danos seeks a detail-oriented records and logistics clerk in Houma, LA to organize electronic files for inventory, shipments and loading operations outdoors. You will create SOPs, track stock, and collaborate with forklift and crane operators to keep goods moving efficiently.

Ideal candidates have experience in logistics or inventory management and can work in varying weather; a TWIC card or valid ID is required to access the facility.

Qualifications

• TWIC card or valid ID required to access facility.
• Experience in logistics or inventory management preferred.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Capable of creating SOP documentation.

Responsibilities

• Record and organize electronic files following predetermined procedures.
• Develop SOP documentation to support processes.
• Maintain electronic records of inventory, shipments, and related documents.
• Coordinate with forklift operators during loading/unloading of trucks.
• Coordinate with crane operators during loading/unloading of boats.
• Track and record inventory before loading/unloading vehicles and vessels.
• Maintain open, effective communication with team members.
