Job summary

A utility locating company in East St. Louis is hiring entry-level Locate Technicians to locate underground utilities. This role includes on-the-job training, a preference for outdoor work, and skills in problem-solving. The company offers a competitive pay rate of $21.00 per hour, flexible scheduling, and best-in-class PTO and paid holidays. Ideal candidates must be 18 or older, have a valid driver's license, and be able to walk up to 5 miles a day.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years old or older.
• Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles a day, 2-3 times a week.

Responsibilities

• Receive, document, and process tickets using a laptop computer.
• Communicate effectively with peers, managers, and homeowners.
• Use provided equipment to locate underground utilities.
