Job summary

Friday Workforce Solutions is seeking an Outdoor Living Consultant to own the client journey from inquiry to signed contract and design handoff. The role blends consultative sales with pool design to deliver buildable, budget-aligned outdoor living projects as the primary client contact.

You will conduct in-home consultations, create 2D/3D renderings with Pool Studio, and design spaces that reflect the client’s vision, site, and budget. Travel to client meetings and events will be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of pool design or building experience.
• Proficiency in Pool Studio Software.
• Proven sales experience in pools, construction, landscaping, or luxury home services.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle for assigned leads from first contact through signed contract

• Produce 2D and 3D renderings and design presentations using Pool Studio
• Design outdoor construction elements and complete backyard concepts integrating pools, hardscapes, lighting, and finishes
• Coordinate handoff to construction with complete drawings and site details
• Represent LPO at showroom visits, home shows, and community events

The Outdoor Living Consultant owns the client journey from first inquiry through signed contract and construction handoff. This role combines consultative sales and pool design to create buildable, budget-aligned outdoor living projects while serving as the client’s primary contact during the sales and design phase.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the full sales cycle for assigned leads, from first contact through signed contract
• Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and proactively follow up with prospects to keep deals moving
• Conduct in-home and on-site consultations to understand each client's goals, budget, and property
• Maintain an organized pipeline in the CRM, with accurate stages, notes, and next steps for every opportunity
• Meet or exceed the monthly and annual sales targets set by LPO leadership
• Design custom pools and outdoor living spaces that reflect the client's vision, site conditions, and budget
• Produce 2D and 3D renderings and design presentations using the company's design software (e.g., Pool Studio)
• Select finishes, materials, water features, decking, lighting, and equipment that fit the design and the client's expectations
• Revise designs based on client feedback until the concept is approved
• Design outdoor construction elements, including patios, driveways, fire pits, outdoor living spaces, outdoor structures, rooftop bars, pool bars, pool houses, and related features
• Create complete backyard concepts that integrate pools, hardscapes, structures, lighting, finishes, and entertainment areas

Client Experience & Handoff

• Serve as the client's primary point of contact through the sales and design phase
• Coordinate the handoff to construction, ensuring scope, drawings, and site details are complete and accurate
• Stay engaged as a familiar point of contact during construction when the client needs reassurance or clarification
• Represent LPO professionally at showroom visits, home shows, and community events

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years of Pool Design or Building Experience
• Proficiency in Pool Studio Software
• Proven sales experience in pools, construction, landscaping, or luxury home services
• Regular travel to client meetings & job sites(Charleston, Bluffton, Beaufort, Columbia, Greenville, Cashiers, Asheville etc.)
• Evening and weekend availability required to meet clients on their schedule
• Periodic participation in home shows, trade events, community marketing, and regional associations
