Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Groundperson in Vermont for an entry-level role with on-the-job training. The position involves outdoor work, trimming and shaping trees to maintain clearance for powerlines in all weather conditions.

We offer a full-time, non-exempt role with competitive hourly pay of $21.80 and a benefits package including retirement, health insurance, and EAP. Prior tree work experience is not required, but preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years-old or older.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Driver’s License preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs, and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Service vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
