Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring for a Groundperson role in Vermont. The position offers on-the-job training and a path to build a career in the line clearance industry. You will work outdoors in all weather to trim and prune vegetation around utility lines.

The role is full-time, non-exempt, with hourly pay and a benefits package including health coverage and retirement options. Prior experience is a plus, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• On-the-job training provided for entry-level and skilled positions.
• Great outdoors, all-weather work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather and feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Service vehicles and equipment, keeping them in good mechanical order.
