Responsibilities

• Assists the classroom teacher in preparing and distributing lesson materials.
• Instructs students under supervision of the classroom teacher.
• Maintains individual student records when asked.
• Keeps the classroom neat, clean and orderly to provide conducive learning spaces.
• Uses resources to support learning activities in the classroom and school community.
• Displays effective classroom techniques and promotes mutual respect and independent thought.
• Works cooperatively with parents and guardians to build confidence in the classroom teacher.
• Guides children to collaborate and play harmoniously with peers.
• Performs other duties assigned by the principal and Choice Schools Associates.
