Job summary

TruGreen is seeking a Residential Lawn Care Technician in Glenarm, IL (Springfield Branch). You’ll manage an assigned route, apply lawn care treatments, and provide excellent customer service while working outdoors daily. Paid training, company-paid certification, and a path for advancement are offered.

Qualified candidates start at $18 per hour, with higher starting pay for licensed individuals. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, holidays, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old at the time of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to pass MVR and comfortable consenting to a criminal background check.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified).
• Apply lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services.
• Manage your route and customer information using a tablet.
• Build relationships with customers and deliver exceptional service.
• Work outdoors in a fast-paced, independent environment safely.
