Job summary

Chris's Landscaping, LLC in Prospect, CT is seeking a hardworking Landscaping/Lawn Maintenance & Fertilizing Applicator to join our growing team. This on-site, hands-on role involves caring for residential and commercial properties with pride and attention to detail.

You will perform lawn maintenance, apply fertilizers and pesticides, assess turf health, and operate equipment safely. A CT pesticide license or willingness to obtain one is required; valid drivers license preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or grounds maintenance.
• Connecticut pesticide applicator license or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to operate commercial landscaping equipment safely.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lawn maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing.
• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides to properties.
• Conduct lawn care assessments and identify turf issues such as weeds, disease, or pest damage
• Operate landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, and spreaders
• Plant, prune, and maintain shrubs, trees, flower beds, and other landscape features
• Follow all safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemical applications
• Communicate professionally with customers and address lawn care concerns on-site
