Job summary

Augment in Freeport, TX is hiring Landfill Laborers to support daily operations at an outdoor industrial site. This hands-on role offers steady full-time hours, weekly pay, and a safety-first team environment designed to keep operations running smoothly.

You’ll perform tasks such as picking up windblown debris, directing traffic for commercial vehicles within the landfill, and basic cleanup like shoveling, raking, and sweeping. A drug screen and background check are required; PPE is provided.

Qualifications

• Able to work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using tools.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and follow safety protocols at all times.
• Prior experience in general labor, landscaping, construction, or sanitation is a plus—but not required.
• Must pass a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of daily tasks to keep the site clean, organized, and operating safely.
• Assist with general labor tasks such as shoveling, raking, sweeping, and minor repairs.
• Direct traffic and guide commercial vehicles safely within the landfill.
• Report any hazards or equipment issues to the site supervisor.
• Assist scale house or equipment operators as needed.
• Pick up windblown debris and litter from around the landfill and fence lines.
