Job summary

Augment is seeking Landfill Laborers in Longview, TX to support daily operations at an outdoor landfill site. The role involves hands-on tasks to keep the site clean, organized, and operating safely in all weather conditions. You will engage in general labor, debris removal, and basic site maintenance with PPE provided.

The position offers steady full-time hours, weekly pay, and opportunities for growth within environmental services. Drug screening and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in general labor, landscaping, construction, or sanitation is a plus.
• Must pass a drug screening and background check.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Pick up windblown debris and litter from around the landfill and fence lines.
• Direct traffic and guide commercial vehicles safely within the landfill.
• Assist with the cleanup and maintenance of work areas, roadways, and equipment.
• Perform general labor tasks such as shoveling, raking, sweeping, and minor repairs.
• Report any hazards or equipment issues to the site supervisor.
• Help ensure environmental and safety regulations are followed.
• Assist scale house or equipment operators as needed.
