Job summary

Augment in Menominee, MI is hiring Landfill Laborers to support daily operations at our outdoor site. This hands-on role offers steady, full-time hours and weekly pay in a safety-first environment.

As a Landfill Laborer you’ll help keep the site clean and safe: remove debris, direct traffic for vehicles, maintain work areas, perform basic labor (shoveling, sweeping), and assist operators as needed. Drug screening and background check required.

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug screening and background check.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and use tools for extended periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
• Prior experience in general labor is a plus but not required.
• Team-oriented with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Pick up windblown debris and litter from around the landfill and fence lines.
• Direct traffic and guide commercial vehicles safely within the landfill.
• Assist with the cleanup and maintenance of work areas, roadways, and equipment.
• Perform general labor tasks such as shoveling, raking, sweeping, and minor repairs.
• Report hazards or equipment issues to the site supervisor.
• Help ensure environmental and safety regulations are followed.
• Assist scale house or equipment operators as needed.
