Job summary

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.
• Ability to understand Maintenance trade practices and follow safety and health standards.
• Experience with extension ladders and fall protection training may be required.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Clear communication in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks and other conveyances.
• Moves supplies to proper locations using wheelbarrow or hand truck.
• Stacks materials for storage or binning.
• Collects refuse and salvageable materials.
• Digs, fills, and tamp earth excavations.
• Levels ground using tools (pick, shovel, rake).
• Cleans culverts, ditches, sidewalks, streets, and buildings.
• Picks up leaves and trash.
• Lifts and carries up to 50 lbs; team lifts 51 lbs or more.
