Job summary

Ouzinkie Native Corporation is seeking a full-time laborer to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors and at times around construction or maintenance sites. You will load/unload, move materials, and operate various hand tools and equipment under safety protocols.

The role requires a high school diploma, the ability to obtain necessary background checks, and flexibility for travel. The position includes competitive hourly pay and standard company benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks, move supplies and materials.
• Stack materials for storage and binning; collect refuse and salvageable materials.
• Dig, fill, and tamp earth excavations; level ground with tools.
• Shovel concrete and snow; clean culverts and ditches; cut trees and brush; operate lawnmowers.
• Move and arrange heavy office, household furniture, equipment and appliances.
• Move heavy machinery and equipment.
• Spread sand and salt on icy roads and walkways; pick up leaves and trash.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
