Job summary

Accelera in Wentzville, MO is seeking a dedicated Irrigation Technician to join our growing outdoor team. This permanent, year‑round role offers steady 40–50 hour weeks, with training available for the right candidate and the opportunity to serve both residential and commercial customers.

Daily tasks include activating/winterizing systems, maintaining and repairing components, calibrating controllers, documenting work with an iPad and ServiceTitan, and upholding safety and customer service

Qualifications

• Experience in irrigation is preferred but not required.
• Background in landscaping is a plus.
• Experience with plumbing systems is beneficial.
• Knowledge of electrical or low‑voltage systems helps.
• Proven mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Backflow certification or relevant experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar field‑service software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Execute seasonal activations and winterization procedures.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and swap irrigation components.
• Identify malfunctions and determine repair strategies.
• Configure and calibrate irrigation controllers for optimal performance.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and inspections.
• Install or replace irrigation hardware as needed.
• Assist with backflow tasks if qualified and required.
• Use iPad and ServiceTitan to manage routes, orders, and data.
• Document service visits accurately and timely.
• Maintain company vehicles and equipment in good condition.
• Follow safety protocols and work collaboratively with the team.
