Job summary

Forest Home is seeking a dedicated maintenance/landscaping team member to cultivate outdoor grounds, perform lawn care, pruning and general upkeep. The role requires operating equipment, applying fertilizers, and maintaining safety and cleanliness across facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong work ethic, and reliable attendance. Weekend and overtime availability may be required, with the opportunity to contribute to a faith-based community.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to perform essential duties with accuracy and safety.
Demonstrates strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
Ability to hear from God and pray for people, both in person and over the phone.
Excellent people service skills and collaboration with team.

Responsibilities

Landscaping and lawn care including planting, mowing, pruning and general ground maintenance.
Assists in landscape and hardscape tasks such as planting and trimming plants and trees.
Apply pesticides and fertilizers per guidelines to promote growth.
Keep inventory and tools organized and in good condition.
Work outdoors in extreme temperatures and perform snow removal when required.
Maintain walkways, roofs, gutters, and outdoor furniture; assist with loading/unloading.
