Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring for Groundperson roles in our line clearance field. This entry-level to skilled position offers on-the-job training and the chance to build a long-term career outdoors, supporting vegetation management and right-of-way work.

The role involves operating a chainsaw, loading debris, and helping with vehicle and equipment maintenance. A driver’s license is preferred, and pre-employment screening may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs, and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Services vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
