Job summary

Gridware, based near San Francisco and deploying in the Houston area, is seeking Field Operations Technicians to support a large-scale deployment. You will coordinate and support outdoor installation of sensing devices on utility poles, working with contractors and utility crews, while ensuring safety, timelines, and quality.

The role requires 1–3 years in field installation, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in field installation or related roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certs are a plus.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee installation of devices on electric poles in remote areas.
• Work with line crews, provide instructions, guidance and supervision.
• Coordinate with utilities, authorities, and communities.
• Use internal tools to record installation activities and issues.
• Assess sites and ensure readiness for installation; address technical challenges.
