Job summary

Katmai seeks a motivated Laborer to support outdoor maintenance and general labor tasks. This full-time role entails loading/unloading, moving materials, digging, shoveling, operating lawn equipment, and site clean-up while following safety standards. Outdoor work in varying weather with some travel and extended hours required.

High school diploma and ability to pass background checks required. Previous laborer experience is a plus; training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain and maintain any necessary background checks.
• Flexibility in scheduling work hours and occasional travel may be required.
• One year experience as a Laborer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move supplies by wheelbarrow or hand truck.
• Stack materials for storage and binning; collect refuse and salvageable materials.
• Dig, fill, and tamp earth excavations; level ground with picking tools and rakes.
• Shovel concrete and snow; clean culverts and ditches; operate lawn equipment.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and appliances; assist with site maintenance.
• Spread sand and salt on icy surfaces; perform general outdoor maintenance.
