REI Co-op in Indianapolis is seeking a Store Sales Specialist to help create better outdoor experiences by sharing knowledge, giving recommendations, and engaging with customers every day. With your help, we will deliver our 100% customer satisfaction guarantee and promote REI memberships, services, and seasonal offerings.

You will maintain store appearance, organize merchandise, participate in Sales & Service training, and assist with store pickup and receiving.

Qualifications

• Store retail experience preferred and a customer-focused mindset.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Openness to feedback and collaboration to drive sales.
• Ability to solve problems and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions about products and memberships.
• Maintain store visuals and assist with merchandising and leads.
• Engage in REI Sales & Service Training and promote REI goods and services.
• Support store pickup, receiving and processing products.
• Follow REI loss prevention and safety procedures.
• Flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Additional duties as assigned.
