Job summary

Prinsco in Chatsworth, IL is seeking a dependable Yard Worker to load/unload products, organize yard inventory, and operate equipment safely. The role supports drivers and customers, with opportunities to learn new skills through cross training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or in process; minimum of three months’ work experience.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to understand written, oral, or diagram form instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Forklift experience preferred with the ability to achieve forklift certification.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds consistently, 50 pounds 1/3 of the day, and 75 pounds less than 1/3 of the day.
• Using hands and reaching with hands/arms for over 2/3 of the workday.
• Standing, walking, climbing, or balancing for over 2/3 of the workday.

• Ability to work in a production environment that is not temperature controlled and occasionally in varying outdoor weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a loud noise environment.
