Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely transport debris, pallets, trash, cardboard, and wood panels from inside facilities to exterior disposal areas. This is a 6-week assignment with Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

You will operate forklifts, maintain clean work areas, follow safety procedures and PPE, and report issues to supervisors. Pay is $21 per hour; benefits follow ABM standards.

Qualifications

• Current forklift certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year forklift operating experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Strong safety awareness and PPE compliance.
• Reliable attendance with overtime flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to transport large debris.
• Move empty pallets, trash, cardboard, wood panels to exterior areas.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Sweep and remove debris during downtime.
• Follow all site safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Communicate with supervisors about upcoming loads.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment at all times.
