Job summary

Charter Communications, operating Spectrum, seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair the fiber/coax network from hub sites to customer connections. You will monitor signal integrity and perform required repairs to ensure uninterrupted service.

The role requires outdoor work, independence, and the ability to work in all weather conditions while communicating clearly with peers and customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Cable experience of at least 1 year.
• Ability to operate test equipment and basic electronics/math.
• Ability to read/write/speak English and communicate professionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair wires delivering Spectrum services from hub sites to customer connection points.
• Monitor and report signal leakages and required repairs.
• Provide 24/7 coverage to keep network connected, including night and adverse weather.
• Work primarily outdoors with no office-based duties.
