Job summary

Quality Counts LLC in the DMV and Northeast is hiring a part-time Traffic Field Technician to support projects nationwide. This hands-on role involves outdoor work installing and retrieving traffic data collection equipment and traveling to field sites.

The Field Operations Technician will work independently, follow project instructions and safety procedures, and enjoy a variable schedule with peak-season hours. A company vehicle is provided for travel between sites and training is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in labor, field, construction, or hands-on work.
• Enjoys physical outdoor work and being on the move.
• Willing to work 10-15 hours/week in slow seasons and 30+ hours in peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Install and retrieve traffic data collection equipment across the DMV and nearby states.
• Perform physical labor including installing cameras and pneumatic tubes.
• Work independently following project instructions, safety procedures, and deadlines.
• Travel locally and to other parts of the country as opportunities arise.
