Dragonfly Pond Works in Triangle, NC looks for a dedicated outdoor worker to join our fast-growing environmental team. You will maintain ponds and stormwater facilities while leading by example and prioritizing safety on every job.

Qualifications

• Experience in pond or lake maintenance, landscaping, erosion control, construction, or stormwater maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate team members.
• Commitment to safety with chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to follow company policies and values.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment safely (slope mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, mini-excavators, skid steers).
• Perform manual labor tasks and operate hand tools.
• Maintain and repair ponds, lakes, and stormwater control measures (grading, erosion repair, planting, mowing, invasive species removal).
• Lead by example, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety guidelines.
• Complete repairs and maintenance on ponds, lakes, and other stormwater control measures.
