Job summary

JARBO is seeking an Environmental Field Technician to support data collection from flow monitoring systems for our water infrastructure project. Outdoorsy candidates who are comfortable entering confined spaces are welcome.

The role offers a balanced schedule with limited overtime, paid holidays, and potential for annual pay increases. Comprehensive benefits are included, and prior experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; AS or BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology or related field welcomed.
• Experience with GIS preferred but not required; strong computer literacy and data entry skills needed.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Install flow monitoring systems in sewer lines.
• Install rainfall monitoring equipment.
• Input data into GIS and other software systems.
• Inspect sewer manholes manually or with telemonitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain instruments and equipment.
• Document inspections with detailed field notes in a timely manner.
• Adhere to safety requirements and assist team members.
