Audubon Vermont is seeking an Environmental Educator to join VHCB AmeriCorps in Vermont. You will deliver place-based programs at the Green Mountain Audubon Center and surrounding towns, growing skills as a naturalist and teacher while engaging thousands of community members.

The role supports education, youth leadership, and conservation, with duties spanning lesson development, collaborations, and outreach. This is a full-time AmeriCorps term with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required to apply.
• Ability to participate in a full AmeriCorps term (01/12/2027 - 12/10/2027).
• Demonstrated communication, education and community engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach environmental education programs for diverse audiences.
• Lead outreach programs at Audubon VT locations and in communities.
• Co-develop and teach youth summer camps.
• Create lesson plans for environmental education programs.
