Job summary

Path Light Pro in Myrtle Beach, SC is hiring for a Full-Time Residential Energy Home Inspector. This in-house training role offers independent field work and opportunities to travel to remote sites to perform energy assessments and ensure construction quality.

No prior experience required; training provided. You will inspect homes, document findings electronically, and communicate energy code requirements to clients and supervisors.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided in-house.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Must have dependable transportation.
• Must travel to remote sites.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Walk on uneven ground and inclines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct construction site evaluations for energy assessment and quality of construction.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Complete site evaluation documentation in electronic systems and onsite energy code compliance forms.
• Communicate construction quality issues and energy code requirements to client onsite personnel.
• Communicate timely with supervisor and clients to support efficient operations.
• Strong problem solving skills providing solutions to improve the quality of each newly constructed house according to energy code requirements.
• Open to learning new skills in the energy efficiency and construction industry.
