Parkway-Rockwood Community Ed invites applications for an Outdoor Education & Recreation Supervisor based in Ellisville, MO. The role leads Babler Outdoor Education Center programs, oversees rental operations for community groups, and guides staff recruitment, training, and scheduling to support youth, families and adults.

The supervisor will manage budgets, collaborate with park staff and education partners, and help grow program offerings across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred: recreation, outdoor education, communications, business or similar.
• Previous professional-level experience in recreation/outdoor education programming preferred.
• Experience managing a rental facility preferred.
• Experience working in outdoor settings and supervising employees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for planning and implementation of programs at Babler Outdoor Education Center and other sites.
• Supervise rental of Babler Outdoor Education Center and build relationships with rental groups.
• Recruit, train, schedule and evaluate staff for programs and facility operations.
• Plan programs at off-site locations within the St. Louis community.
• Collaborate with Babler State Park staff and other teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage program budgets and communicate parameters with staff and partners.
