Job summary

Great Parks of Hamilton County seeks an Outdoor Educator to develop and lead nature programs across Farbach‑Werner Nature Preserves and related parks. You will schedule school programs, develop curricula, and communicate with staff to support community education initiatives.

The role may require evenings and weekends; prior experience with animal care is a plus, and the Bird of Prey program is highlighted in this posting. A cover letter with resume is requested.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop and deliver interpretive programs.
• Ability to coordinate school programs and develop curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Present interpretive programs on natural/cultural history and sustainability.
• Research topics and create engaging, accurate material for diverse audiences.
• Work with live animals, demonstrations, and instructional technology.
• Maintain records and report program outcomes; handle communications.
