Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: AA degree or equivalent, NCLB requirements met.
• Experience in a school setting or with children preferred.
• Interpersonal skills: works well with diverse groups.
• English language fluency in speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist students individually or in groups with reading, math, and writing.
• Record keeping, attendance, and supervision duties.
• Assist licensed staff with materials and classroom setup.
• Ensure safety and supervise students during recess and lunch.
