Congruex is hiring a Laborer to work on construction sites. The role involves cleaning and preparing sites, loading materials, and using various tools to complete tasks while following safety procedures.

The Laborer assists with excavation, shoring, conduit placement, concrete work, and asphalt prep, contributing to the overall progress of projects. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and OSHA 10 certification, with experience in underground utility construction preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in underground utility construction.
• Experience operating small equipment and hand tools.
• Pre-employment background check, drug test, and MVR.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; adaptable to weather.
• Ability to follow instructions and work overtime.

Responsabilidades

• Attend safety meetings and participate as needed.
• Operate tamping machines per specifications.
• Inspect machines and assist with maintenance.
• Load, unload, and prepare jobsite materials.
• Maintain a neat and clean work area.
• Inspect and operate hand tools for activities.
• Assist with trench excavation, shoring and backfilling.
• Dig entry and exit pits; place conduit in trenches.
• Form, pour concrete; prep and place asphalt.
• Maintain safety of company vehicles and ensure asset use.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Observe and promote safety compliance; complete safety training annually.
• Report injuries and other accidents to foreman.
• Assist coworkers; keep site organized at end of shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
