Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking candidates for a site-based construction labor role. You will assist with field efforts under supervision, prepare sites, and operate basic tools and equipment.

Duties include hazard control, material handling, and firewatch responsibilities. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 60 pounds, and passing a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and pass pre-employment screening.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record is required.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and 8-hour refresher may be required.
• Able to work outdoors and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare project sites to eliminate hazards.
• Operate small hand and power tools; decontaminate equipment.
• May operate road and off-road haul and water trucks.
• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Perform firewatch duties.
