Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a hands-on construction laborer to support field efforts under direct supervision of the Site Manager. Responsibilities include site preparation, tool operation, and hazardous material handling.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 60 pounds, outdoor work, and willingness to travel with short notice; 0–2 years of experience preferred; HAZWOPER training beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with driving record within company parameters.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Maintain 40 hour HAZWOPER and 8 hour refresher if required.
• Outdoor work environment.
• 0–2 years of experience.
• Willingness to travel and report on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare project sites to eliminate hazards.
• Operate small hand and power tools, decontamination of equipment.
• May operate road and off-road haul and water trucks.
• Handling of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Firewatch.
