Job summary

HouseSmart Construction, a division of Clayton Homes, is hiring an Installer I for a full-time outdoor role at multiple sites in Alabama. No experience is required.

You will work with a crew to remove wrap, handle materials, and assist with basic masonry and pier work. Must lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and operate basic hand/power tools. Weekly pay and strong growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• No prior construction experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work outdoors and as part of a crew.

Responsibilities

• Assist Crew Chief and team on daily tasks.
• Remove protective shipping wrap from homes and store items safely.
• Handle exterior items like shingles under guidance of veterans.
• Help load/unload materials and keep tools and trucks organized.
• Assist with installing vapor barriers beneath the home.
• Assist with piers and masonry work under the homes.
