Job summary

HouseSmart Construction is seeking a hands-on, outdoor Installer I. No experience is required, and a can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in the construction industry is valued.

You will assist with setting up manufactured homes, help the Crew Chief, and participate in tasks from removing shipping wrap to masonry work beneath Homes. This full-time position includes pay ranging from $15.00 to $16.50 per hour, paid weekly, and opportunities for hands-on training and career growth.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Outdoors position; hands-on work and physical activity.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a crew.

Responsibilities

• Help set up manufactured homes and assist the Crew Chief.
• Remove protective shipping wrap and exterior items as directed.
• Load/unload materials and keep tools organized for the team.
• Install vapor barriers beneath the home and assist with pier foundations.
• Perform masonry work underneath homes as needed and travel between sites.

HouseSmart Construction – Installer I

HouseSmart Construction is looking for a hands‑on, outdoor position for an Installer I. No experience is required. We value a can‑do attitude and a desire to learn and grow in the construction industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Helping with the setup of all manufactured homes
• Work as a team player by assisting the Crew Chief and team
• Remove protective shipping wrap from homes – our team will show you the best ways to do this
• Remove and properly store exterior use items like shingles under the leadership of our experienced team members
• Help remove tires, axles, and tongues which can weigh up to 50 lbs
• Travel to each home site and assist the team with necessary construction activities
• Load and unload materials, and keep the tools and trucks organized
• Install vapor barriers beneath the home
• Gather materials for beginning piers and help build them
• Masonry work underneath the homes

When You’ll Be Doing It

• Full‑time, Monday through Friday
• Pay: $15.00–$16.50 an hour (depends on experience)
• Paid weekly
