Job summary

Block by Block is hiring a Cleaning Ambassador in Stamford, CT. This role involves outdoor cleaning duties, engaging with the public, and maintaining city spaces. Weekly pay with pay advance, PTO, and uniforms are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language to create basic reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of visibility at street level to perform cleaning tasks in the assigned zone.
• Engage pedestrians with a friendly greeting to offer directions or information.
• Remove litter and graffiti from streets, sidewalks, and public areas.
• Pull weeds at tree wells and in cracks in sidewalks and vacant lots.
• Damp wipe and straighten outdoor surfaces like trash can lids and news boxes.
• Report safety concerns and complete basic daily task reports in English.
