Job summary

Block by Block is seeking a friendly Cleaning Ambassador in Clay Arsenal, CT. The role involves cleaning streets and sidewalks, engaging with the public, and reporting to Safety Ambassadors. You will walk a prescribed zone, remove litter, and maintain public spaces with a positive demeanor.

Qualifications

• Ability to greet pedestrians and provide directions.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather.
• Must read, write and speak English to create basic reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility and deliver cleaning tasks in assigned zone.
• Greet pedestrians and provide city information as needed.
• Remove litter and graffiti from streets and sidewalks, and weed at tree wells and sidewalks.
• Damp wipe outdoor surfaces and reports of daily tasks.
