Job summary

McHale Landscape Design is seeking a Carpenter to join our Design Build department. You will construct high-end outdoor structures around the Annapolis/Eastern Shore region and collaborate with our landscape design-build teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to high quality standards.

The role requires 1+ years of residential/outdoor carpentry experience, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in residential or outdoor carpentry.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Build high-end outdoor structures including decks, pergolas, pavilions, and custom landscape structures.
• Perform carpentry tasks like framing, siding, fine trim, and detailed custom exterior woodwork.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with the construction team to complete projects from start to finish.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Review your own work to ensure it meets high-quality industry standards.
• Follow project timelines to ensure efficient daily workflow.
• Ensure all tasks comply with building codes and regulations
