Job summary

Evermore Orlando Resort in Orlando, FL seeks a dedicated hospitality team member to help deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will handle dining prep, station maintenance, and attentive service in a fast-paced resort environment.

Responsibilities include setting and stocking areas, ensuring clean tables and cabanas, serving beverages, and assisting front-of-house staff while upholding safety standards and presenting a positive image to guests.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of hospitality and restaurant experience.
• Food safety and alcohol certifications required by FL.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of guests.
• Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
• Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair.
• Report any inconsistencies to leadership.
• Assist with setting and preparing tables and cabanas for dining.
• Assist Front of House Team Members with table service.
• Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s).
• Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, cabanas, service areas and equipment.
• Ensure Evermore Bay is free of debris and well-presented.
• Complete side work as assigned.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests courteously and address service needs.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and complete training.
• Maintain professional appearance and protect company assets.
• Engage in a positive guest-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
• Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
• Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair.
• Report any inconsistencies to leadership.
• Assist with setting and preparing tables and cabanas for dining, which may include, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
• Assist Front of House Team Members with table service, which may include, but not limited to, serving beverages, etc.
• Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s).
• Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area.
• Consistently account for and maintain cleanliness of tables, cabanas, service areas and equipment in the dining area.
• Ensure Evermore Bay is consistently free of debris and has a positive appearance.
• Complete side work as assigned.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, and complete safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Engage in a positive guest focused environment.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Education, Skills and Experience

• 1-2 years of hospitality and restaurant experience, customer service focus
• Food, alcohol, and safety certifications under FL requirements.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people.
• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of performing the role in a busy work environment.
• Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines.

Physical Requirements

• Able to safely lift, pull and push up to 25 pounds.
• Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach.
