Job summary

Omni Las Colinas Hotel is seeking a friendly bartender to deliver efficient, guest-focused service in a fast-paced setting along the Mandalay Canal in Irving, TX. You will maintain a clean bar, know menu offerings, and ensure timely order taking and transactions in the Micros system.

With 1 year of bartending experience and a passion for high-end hospitality, you’ll thrive in a team that values service, accuracy, and compliance with responsible alcohol service laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year bartending experience in high-volume environments.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits.
• Unexpired Food Handlers and TIPS/TABC certifications.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, anticipate needs, and respond to requests.
• Know all food and beverage offerings.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and organization.
• Provide silverware and condiments with meals.
• Process orders and record transactions in Micros.
• Handle guest tabs and payments promptly.
• Upsell products to guests.
• Work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Follow responsible alcohol service laws.
• Coordinate with management and kitchen staff.
• Maintain pars and bar setup/breakdown.
