Job summary

Rush County Stone is seeking a self-motivated Aggregate Plant Operator to join our outdoor quarry operations. The role focuses on maintaining plant equipment, performing repairs, and safely supporting production in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in mining operations, experience with front end loaders, and a high school diploma or GED plus a valid driver’s license. MSHA knowledge is preferred and overtime/weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a mining operation.
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience operating front end loaders.
High school diploma or GED; valid driver's license; knowledge of MSHA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform daily preventative maintenance and safety inspections on plant equipment.
Conduct general plant maintenance and repairs.
Replace or repair conveyor systems, screens, and related mechanical components.
Fabricate and weld parts or structural components as needed.
Operate various hand and power tools, including cutting tools.
Operate heavy equipment as needed to support plant operations.
Follow and enforce all company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
