Job summary

Jurgensen Family of Companies is seeking self-motivated Aggregate Maintenance/Laborers for full-time outdoor work at our sand and gravel operation. You will perform mechanical maintenance, preventive checks, and assist in operating equipment while adhering to safety procedures.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and be physically fit to work in varying weather and elevations. Willingness to travel to company locations is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience in an industrial, construction, or plant maintenance setting preferred.
• Must be dependable, physically fit, and willing to work outdoors and at elevations.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical Maintenance & Repair: perform plant maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and minor repairs; replace/repair conveyor belts, screening systems, and other components using hand/power tools.
• Preventative Maintenance & Equipment Checks: conduct daily safety inspections and preventive tasks, identify wear or hazards, report issues to minimize downtime.
• Equipment Operation Support: operate or assist with operating mobile or plant equipment (e.g., skid steer, front-end loader) while following safety protocols around heavy machinery.
• Safety & Environmental Compliance: follow all safety policies, maintain clean work areas, use PPE, and follow lockout/tagout procedures when required.
